The clean save option
Open any public video, tap Share, and choose the download option marked for no watermark. The file lands in your gallery as a plain MP4 with no logo track.
Picking quality
In settings, set download quality to Original when you plan to edit, and to Data saver when you just want to watch offline. Original files are bigger but survive a second export without turning mushy.
Private and duet videos
If the creator disabled downloads, no client can save the clip; that is their privacy setting, not a bug. Duets and stitches follow the same rule as the source video.
